What is M.A.R.C.?
Founded in 2024, the Mid Atlantic Rubber Club, affectionately known as M.A.R.C. is a social club for Rubber enthusiasts in the Mid Atlantic Region of the United States.
WHO WE ARE
Made up of a family of kink enthusiasts with a common interest in rubber, latex, neoprene, vinyl, lycra, spandex, and other related fetish clothing, toys, items, and activities, our Members join us from all over the Mid Atlantic Region of the United States, including Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia.
The Club is above all else a social club, for its members to make life-long friendships and bonds, strengthening their sense of Community, and celebrating our love of gear.

WHAT WE DO
M.A.R.C. hosts regular social events and activities to promote access to rubber and other fetish wear in its proximity. Our events are a great place to meet new people with common interests and show off your favorite gear.
While we have regular informal socials, we also host periodic larger events focused on kink education, with live demonstrations, and hands-on workshops, gear markets, connecting you to premium vendors around the region, and charity fundraisers, to support members and organizations within the larger kink and LGBTQ+ Communities.
HOW TO JOIN
If you are interested in joining the club, you can learn more about our Membership options and how to become a member, by visiting our “Membership” page, linked below.

History
Jul 2024
Envisioning a space
Founded by Bruiser Matthew, who envisioned a Mid Atlantic Rubber Club modeled after Clubs around the world that could serve the Community of the Region.
Nov 2024
Establishing a scene
After several small collaborative gear happy hours with other Communities across the DMV, M.A.R.C. hosted a larger scale event in Northern Virginia with live demos, DJ, and vendors.
Jan 2025
Finding Playmates
M.A.R.C. assumed responsibility to lead the Rubber Social at Mid Atlantic Leather weekend in Washington DC. This event featuring live demos, DJ, and a charity auction, helped spread the word about the MIR International Rubber Weekend.
Dec 2025
Forming a Family
After over a year of events and activities, the inaugural Board of Directors formally established organizational documents, and opened the community for Membership.
Our Club Colors
Club “Colors” are a common tradition within the Kink and Fetish community tracing their history back to motorcycle clubs (MCs). Colors refer to the distinctive patches worn on vests by members of their clubs to show off their affiliation, and identity. They serve as a functional flag or insignia and a way for members to demonstrate their pride in the organization. Our Club Colors are rich in meaning and symbolism to represent our community, its history, and our organizational values.
Tire
The rubber tire has become a global symbol of the rubber community. The process of vulcanization gave birth to the creation of sheet latex.

Gas mask
Another global symbol of the fetish community, this particular mask is modeled after the MSA Millennium Gas Mask manufactured in Pittsburgh, PA.
Chains
Representing the rich nautical and industrial history of the Mid-Atlantic, chains also represent the bonds forged through community. The imagery of the chain is a repeated motif throughout M.A.R.C. activities, as each link is used to represent the contributions and fraternity of our individual members.

Stars
Borrowed from the Washington, DC flag, the red star represents the regions colonial history.
Stripes
The M.A.R.C. Colors include one stripe for each of the 5 states and territories that make up the region: Washington, DC, Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, and Pennsylvania.

Full Members
Full Members wear the full Club Colors, which include the gas mask. These patches are often larger and more prominently displayed.
